MarTech Specialist

This role will be a part of the marketing technologies and platforms team to support the strategy and goals for beIN MENA’s digital OTT platforms. The role will be responsible for shaping up OTT platform’s MarTech landscape. The role will be responsible together with MarTech & Marketing Platforms Manager to build the Campaign Management platforms necessary for the success of the OTT business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the MarTech Manager in setting the MarTech roadmap and working with technology teams and vendors for its delivery. Own a subset of the roadmap, focused primarily on our CRM integrations
  • Manage to key performance indicators of OTT video advertising campaigns as agreed upon by marketing teams and martech manager
  • Be an active participant in new campaign kickoff meetings with Marketing teams
  • Deal with any OTT video creative, VAST Tag, 3rd party ad server, etc issues and provide trouble shooting as needed
  • Produce, implement and troubleshoot tracking tags & pixels when needed
  • Investigate and solve any platform issues
  • Be in close contact with campaign managers to understand and prioritize any system improvements needed for success of campaigns
  • Communicate OTT video campaign reporting and updates via phone call and in-person meetings with marketing teams on a case-by-case-basis
  • Analyze campaign data, make applicable optimizations to campaigns to meet the marketing team’s campaign goals/KPIs.
  • Provide Marketing team with impression forecasts, data segments and campaign strategy, especially for OTT opportunities
  • Consume various digital advertising publications & sources to maintain a firm understanding of the innovations within the digital advertising industry
  • Partner up with marketing and technical stakeholders to define requirements on both ends and deliver the solution

 

Experience & Education Qualification

  • 3+ years’ experience in in a project management, data or business intelligence role, preferably in a media company
  • You are passionate, engaging, flexible and persuasive – able to engage across a wide range of technical and non-technical stakeholders; articulate strategic vision to key stakeholders
  • Experience with campaign platforms
  • Experience working with HTML and CSS
  • Hands-on experience working with consumer-level event and attribute data for audience segmentation, targeting and measurement. Must be comfortable managing projects and timelines
  • Comprehensive knowledge of statistical methods
  • Ideal candidates will have experience adhering to data security and privacy rules (GDPR or other similar legal codes) and be extra cautious on how data is handled.
  • Extremely curious about how our customers use our products and passionate about entertainment and sports broadcasting, digital media, OTT/SVOD. You are constantly asking “Who, What, Where, When, How and WHY?”
  • English language fluency; Arabic and other language skills extremely valuable
  • Degree or equivalent experience
