Lead, Inspection Methods
To develop and implement Inspection processes, strategies, procedures and reports to ensure that the fitness for service of offshore installations are maintained and degradation mechanisms are evaluated to define short, medium and long terms remedial/mitigation measures. Develop associated KPI reporting structure / workflow
Ensure the integrity of topside pressure systems operated by company are inspected & maintained in accordance with NOC standards, procedures and guidelines, legislative requirements, technical standards, classification rules and industry best practice
Liaise closely with ALL NOC entities engaged in Integrity to ensure that operated facilities remain fit for purpose and again in accordance with NOC standards, procedures and guidelines, legislative requirements, technical standards, classification rules and industry best practice
Define, develop and maintain best in class INSP mobility solutions, and its associated interfaces between Integrity Management software systems such as SAP & Credosoft
Create, maintain and ensure full coverage of INSP asset register required to fulfill minimum inspection requirement
Responsible for the INSP Mgt solution; Covering mobility solutions and system interfaces (SAP/Credo)
Responsible for improving the INSP Mgt Solution and capturing REX from end users
Ensure WSE / inspection plans are maintained up to date, and RBI re-run is monitored to keep it LIVE
Define and monitor performance of the Risk Based Inspection (RBI) plan
Prepare a long-term inspection plan to verify integrity status in accordance with legislation and standards
Develop and maintain standards necessary to maintain pressure envelope falling within frame of integrity
Assist to define risk based corrective maintenance strategies linked to repair (inc. Fabrication Maintenance) / replace Assist definition of standards linked to secondary / tertiary structure including fixed lifting equipment
Assess and maintain the Contracts and Budgets required for the performance of the required activities OWN the Facility Integrity Management System covering Corrosion, Inspection & Anomaly Management
Oversea and ensure that the Facility Integrity Management System is maintained up to date and relevant
Seek out latest inspection techniques to ensure integrity of piping systems, vessels, pipelines and structures.
Assess the data obtained from the inspection and monitoring activities and draw conclusions about both the current integrity and the required future actions
Ensure that the relevant FFS analyses are performed when needed and that the required remedial actions are specified and implemented in a timely manner.
Provide leadership and coaching to all direct reports in the execution of their responsibilities
Encourage innovative thinking around process safety, integrity management and production optimization
Performance manage direct reports via regular feedback and guidance on development opportunity

CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT
Position is in a OPCO (JV) operating oil & gas facility with offshore/onshore (non producing) sites, based in Doha, Qatar.
The position is part of the permanent team and is on resident basis (5d a week).
Trip to offshore and visit to OEM/service company workshop are required on ah-hoc basis.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Degree Qualified (minimum Bachelor level) essential in a relevant discipline such as Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering
API certifications in Static Equipment Inspection (510) and/or Piping Inspection (570) are essential
API certifications in Risk Based Inspection principles and management (580 / 581) are beneficial
Plant / site-based experience is essential and a practical inspection background is a must
Minimum of 10 years’ applicable experience in the Offshore Oil and Gas industry
3 years spent in a similar Senior / Lead capacity, with technical authority duties demonstrable
Advanced understanding of corrosion causes/damage mechanisms, options to mitigate, means to apply and measure success
Advanced knowledge and application of standard & advanced inspection techniques & methods
Strong working knowledge of Asset Integrity Mgt. principles in Oil & Gas Production facilities
Clear understanding of Fitness for Service & Design principles for piping systems, vessels, pipelines and structures
Working knowledge of international codes and standards pertinent to inspection and integrity field
Able to develop KPIs and report them effectively through NOC to facilitate effective decision making
Fluent in written and spoken English, with a strong command of typical IS systems and reporting structures
Ability to Lead/Coach/Mentor in a multicultural and highly technical specialized environment.
Knowledge and use of SAP, NEXUS & Credo would be an advantage
