Digital PMO Manager Job Summary:

Seeking a meticulous and driven Digital PMO Manager with proven track record in managing digitalization projects and Program Management Offices. Successful incumbent will be appointed in the Digital Transformation Office of a major public sector entity in Qatar. This position is based in Qatar and for a limited duration of up to nine months.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and report on different initiatives and projects, manage project team resources and assignments, ensure project milestones are met and up to standard.
Manage Digital Transformation Office activities inclusive of timely producing regular reports for different stakeholders
Maintain consolidated risks and issues logs at program level and ensure mitigation plans and resolutions are respectively put in place and enacted.
Maintain action items log at the program level and monitor the implementation of these
Track the budget for different initiatives and ensure compliance with budgetary planning
Hold Transformation Office Meetings and document applicable meeting minutes in either English or Arabic
Consolidate project plans into different master plan, establish dependencies and monitor them
Manage vendors in charge of implementing awarded projects.
Process change requests and liaise with internal and external entities to advance them and bring them to final approval
Produce ad-hoc reports as requested by transformation leadership and key stakeholders
Ensure the project team follows all quality assurance processes.

Required Skills:

Proven ability to interact with various stakeholders, senior management, and external vendors effectively.
Deep understanding of project and program management best practices
Experience in project plans, milestones, measures, budgets, resource, and time management.
Excellent management skills and emotional intelligence to influence key decisions, mediate conflicts and build consensus.
Resourceful and proactive team player with excellent analytical and planning skill
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in PMO: 5+ years.
PMP certification or equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience in technology project and program management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong presentations skills
Experience in business & digital transformations
Previous management consulting experience is desirable
Bilingual: English & Arabic a strong preference
Industry experience: transport, healthcare, environment, or logistics.
Education

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field from a tier-1 college
MBA a plus
